Harvard decides to fight against fascism after seeing what happened to Columbia University, which tried to appease Trump and is now being told it must make more concessions.

Harvard has decided to fight back against Trump and his fascist attempts to stifle free speech and academic freedom at American universities under the pretext of protecting students from antisemitism. The federal government told Harvard it would hold back billions of dollars in grants if it did not submit to demands that include ending all DEI programs, limiting the rights of students to assemble and protest, allowing government interference in academic programs and personnel decisions, and submitting to regular federal audits to confirm compliance.

Trump hosted authoritarian President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador today, and both men joked in front of the media and the world about how they would not be returning Kilmar Abrego Garcia from an El Salvador concentration camp. This is in defiance of an albeit weak ruling (but a ruling nonetheless) from the Supreme Court last week for Trump to "facilitate" exactly that, and continues the White House's pattern of treating the federal judiciary with outright contempt. Trump's behavior again confirms his belief that Kilmar, like hundreds of others like him, was unworthy of due process and is now dead to constitutional rights granted to everyone in the United States. And Trump wants to go after the "homegrowns" next.

Trump Hosts Dictator Imprisoning 179 Immigrants with No Criminal Record

Trump illegally deported over 200 immigrants to an El Salvador concentration camp on March 15th, and at least 179 of them had no criminal record and were denied due process. He has proposed sending American citizens to the same place.

On Monday, Donald Trump is hosting El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, who is a dictator ruling his country using emergency powers and someone Trump wants to emulate. This ominous visit occurs at a time when Trump is ignoring a Supreme Court ruling that directed him to return one of the over 200 immigrants Trump illegally deported to a notorious concentration camp in El Salvador by misusing a 1798 war powers act. At least 179 of the  men sent to CECOT prison on March 15th have no criminal record and were stripped of both their due process rights and human dignity. Trump has already suggested doing the same to American citizens.

The Supreme Court that Trump appointed 1/3 of keeps siding with Trump. Last night, the high court essentially ruled Trump could continue illegally deporting Venezuelan immigrants using the Alien Enemies Act, a 1798 law that can only be used when the United States is at war with a foreign country (we are not at war with Venezuela). Not being satisfied with that outrage, it further emboldened Trump by ruling today that his illegal firing of thousands of federal workers are now okay and he does not have to reinstate any of them.

Trump Refuses to Return Man Illegally Deported to El Salvador

Trump illegally deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia to an El Salvador concentration camp due to an "administrative error" and is defying a court order to bring him back to the United States.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old Maryland husband and father, was illegally deported to a notorious concentration camp in El Salvador on March 15th with hundreds of other immigrants who were denied due process. This was despite the fact he is a legal resident and had a 2019 protection order barring his deportation to his home country of El Salvador due to the risk of serious personal harm by gangs there. Even so, after admitting they made a mistake, the cruel and incompetent Trump regime has immediately appealed a federal judge's ruling that Kilmar must be returned to the United States by April 7th at 11:59 pm. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt even released a statement seemingly mocking the ruling and claiming the judge had no authority to issue it.

Gay Asylum Seeker One of Many Illegally Sent to Concentration Camp by Trump

Andry José Hernández Romero, a gay Venezuelan man requesting asylum in the US due to persecution in his home country, was disappeared to an El Salvador concentration camp on 3/15/2025 by the Trump regime without any due process.

On March 15th,  a 31-year-old gay Venezuelan man named Andry José Hernández Romero was sent to an El Salvador concentration camp with hundreds of other male migrants by the Trump regime. His crime? Requesting asylum due to persecution for his political views and sexual orientation in his home country. Oh, and he has artistic tattoos that were deemed gang-like, and this was used as a pretext for the cruelty Donald Trump has become so well known for. Authorities concluded Andry, a makeup artist and hairdresser, was a member of the Tren de Aragua gang.

DOGE is an Unconstitutional and Fascist Hostile Takeover of Federal Government

DOGE, Elon Musk, and the Trump regime are violating Article I of the Constitution, the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, and a 1975 Supreme Court ruling determining the president has to spend the money allocated by Congress.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has absolutely no authority to exist under the Constitution. Its actions have actually violated the constitutional order, a 1974 law limiting presidential impoundment of funds authorized by Congress, and a 1975 Supreme Court ruling that determined Nixon did not have the authority to hold back lawfully appropriated federal funding by Congress. This means the unelected, Nazi-saluting billionaire bureaucrat Elon Musk, the autocratic Donald Trump, and Congressional Republicans who support DOGE, which is not a department lawfully authorized by Congress, are all partners in a quite brazen unconstitutional dismantling of the federal government.

Rubio Admits Venezuelans Sent to Concentration Camp Not All Gang Members

In remarks to the press yesterday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted the Trump regime violated the due process of at least some of the Venezuelan immigrants sent to an El Salvador concentration camp earlier this month. The Trump regime illegally sent the men to El Salvador on March 15th by incorrectly using the 18th-century Alien Enemies Act (which requires a Congressional declaration of war on a foreign country or government) and directly violated a federal court order for the planes transporting the Venezuelan migrants to turn around and return to the United States. The regime also lied in multiple official statements prior to Rubio's and claimed all of the Venezuelans were members of the gang Tren de Aragua.
